چکیده

The present study aimed to assess the relationship of soil properties in salt-affected soils. samples were collected from 14 districts Pakistan. Soil salinity and sodicity are common features arid semiarid regions. effects salt’s interactions with micronutrients have not been well studied. Therefore, saline non-saline different locations. microelements (Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn) fractionated into water-soluble, exchangeable, carbonate, Fe + Mn oxide, organic, residual fractions. Univariate multivariate analysis (PCA) was carried out determine linear between Results showed that magnitude appeared be affected by In soil, fractions differed order > organic bound carbonate exchangeable water soluble. Iron varied soils as Copper concentration higher forms, amount lower water-soluble forms under both conditions. fraction lower, proportionately than other Zinc found mostly mobility factor greater soil. PCA revealed matter (OM) pH directly fractionation Zn, Thus, it could inferred salts can bring changes composition depending on nature salts.

Effectiveness of spectral data reduction in detection of salt-affected soils in a small study area

Data reduction is used to aggregate or amalgamate the large data sets into smaller and manageable information pieces in order to fast and accurate classification of different attributes. However, excessive spatial or spectral data reduction may result in losing or masking important radiometric information. Therefore, we conducted this research to evaluate the effectiveness of the different...
